Stena Drilling Limited is committed to a policy of protecting the environment, and therefore conducts its business and operations in an environmentally responsible, sustainable and transparent manner. Our environmental policy defines the standard expected of all our operations both offshore on the vessels and onshore within our support bases.
Sustainability is a key concept for the industry and to be a sustainable company we need to look at the financial, social and environmental aspects of the organisation and decide where to prioritise resources. Stena Drilling are working on stakeholder analysis, impact analysis, risk assessments and materiality matrices with the aim of developing strategic sustainability objectives for the organisation.
Stena Drilling gained ISO14001 certification from DNV in 2007 with one semi-submersible rig and the Aberdeen Head Office. Currently the certification extends to the full fleet and the Aberdeen Head Office and Warehouse.
