Assistant International Logistics Manager


Working from our base office in Aberdeen, as well as out in the field, we currently have an exciting opportunity, for Assistant International Logistics Manager to join one our team. Some of the duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

Roles & Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with and where appropriate take control of the rig importation process in a variety of locations.
  • Co-ordinate with suppliers, clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Assist in all matters pertaining to the importation and tracking of goods in and out of different jurisdictions and to and from drilling vessels.
  • Interface with all relevant internal and external departments to assist with the Visa, Crewing and Local Content processes.
  • Support set up of entities and compliance for projects in all locations as appropriate.
  • Support the positive marketing efforts of the company through professional interaction with all parties in all locations, travelling to source information and advice where necessary.

Communication:

  • Regular communication with International Logistics Manager
  • Regular communication with Rig Managers at all locations.
  • Regular communication with Finance, Procurement & HR.
  • Weekly communication with base logistics personnel.
  • Maintain professional relationship throughout course of duties with 3rd party personnel and all shore-based departments.

Qualifications and Experience

Ideally suitable applicants should hold –

  • Degree in Business Management
  • Project Management Experience
  • International Relocation and Logistics
  • Significant experience required in the offshore industry
