ERIK RØNSBERG
Chief Executive Officer
Erik, a Chartered Engineer, has worked in the offshore business for over 25 years, first as an Offshore Rig Surveyor, then in shipyards following up construction of new-build drilling rigs, spending several years in the US, Canada, Norway and the Far East. Erik joined Stena Drilling in 2006, originally in an engineering capacity before taking over as Chief Executive Officer.
EIRIK REINERTSEN
Chief Commercial Officer
Eirik Reinertsen has been with Stena Drilling since 2006 and has held the position as Chief Commercial Officer since end of 2013. Before that Eirik worked a number of years internationally and held several positions in the Operations Department as well as the Commercial Department in Stena Drilling.
STUART WYNESS
Chief Financial Officer
A graduate of Aberdeen University, Stuart joined Stena Drilling in 1997 from KPMG. Stuart held Management and Project Accounting positions at Stena Drilling before becoming Chief Financial Officer in 2010
CHRIS CARBAUGH
Chief Operations Officer
Chris has over 20 years of oil and gas experience and joined Stena Drilling as a Rig Manager in 2017, before becoming Chief Operations Officer in 2019. Following 6 years in the US Navy where he served on submarines, Chris attended Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. Upon graduation he was employed as an Operations Engineer with another drilling contractor before moving to a major operator. Chris has subsequently worked for other drilling contractors and managed rigs in Europe, Southeast Asia, Africa and Brazil.
Innes Cormack
Chief Technical Officer
An Engineering graduate of Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen , Innes has over 30 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry working in various technical roles in the UK and overseas. Innes joined Stena Drilling in 2010, becoming Engineering Manager in 2015 before taking on the Chief Technical Officer role in 2026.
