The new washroom facility has now been completed and opened on 12th September 2019, ready for the new academic year.

Rejoice Crankson, Unicon HR Manager opened the new facility with Glynn Dubber, Stena Drilling Base Manager, John Adjei, the schools Headmaster, Jefferey Quayson, Chairman of the school’s PTA, Municipal Chief Executive of the Effia- Kwesimintim Municipal Assembly, Honourable Kojo Acquah, various School Health and Education Personnel (SHEP) Coordinators from the Municipal Education Office, and most importantly all the school’s teachers and pupils, including prefects, Janet Koomson and Doreen Yeboah.

Upon opening the wash room John Adjei said:

‘The SMC/PTA, teachers and staff and entire student body of Whindo Assakae MA JHS wish to express our profound appreciation to your reputable organisation for providing us with this first class and much needed washroom facility.

We pledge to keep it well maintained!

We thank you for creating such an edifice and enabling environment for improving the quality of education… May God richly bless you.’

Also, in attendance were two Ghana Petroleum Commission officials: Kwadwo Asare Kyei- Local Content Manager and Alfred Ayah- Western Regional Manager.
